Perhaps the most notable of those is XS Energy Drink’s presentation to the market as a sugar-free/low calorie energy drink, a very attractive brand message at a time when most people in North America are trying to lose or keep from gaining weight.

XS Energy Drink’s packaging in convenient 250 milliliter packs have also made it highly popular amongst people who are keen on an energy drink they can fit into handbags and briefcase without causing a ‘bulge.’

Ingredients

There are also ingredient-related attractions to the XS Energy Drink. The makers seem to have thought long and hard on what to include and what to omit on the XS Energy Drink ingredient list. The end result has been a situation where XS Drink contains (all at least seems to contain) all the ingredients that people are in search of. It is also bereft of all ingredients that people are running from.

One of the ingredients that people are keenly running from, in this weight-conscious age is, of course, sugar. And that is where the makers of XS Energy Drink claim distinction for having created the first truly sugar free energy drink. Yet the fact that the XS Energy Drink is sugar free doesn’t mean that it is bland; for sugar-alternatives have been employed to make it palatable (actually sweeter than some of the other sugar-laden energy drinks). The sugar alternatives used here include sucralose and acesulfame potassium. These are substances that have a sweetening effect, but which don’t have other undesirable qualities associated with sugar.

Another ingredient that people are running from is caffeine. And aware of this, the makers of XS Energy Drink have created what they call the ‘caffeine free’ varieties of their drink. And even for the caffeinated versions of the drink, they seem to have kept – or so they claim – the levels of caffeine as low as they can reasonably be.

Turning to the ingredients people are looking for – we find the XS Energy Drink containing, among others, panax ginseng, Schisanda and the so-called purple cornflower, as well as high levels of vitamin B, which is what seem to yield most of the energizing effect.

The modern lifestyle for many people around the world has exposed them to become vulnerable to many conditions affecting their general health with the spine health not being an exception. Many of us cannot remember how many hours we have to spend in much compromised positions either before the computer or seated in the car which also means long periods of inactivity. Our weak back muscles especially the lower back muscles are therefore subjected to enormous stress and their overuse leads to tendon injuries. The condition is known as a back strain which makes the body to react by initiating the healing process of inflammation thus causing the back pains. To save us from all these troubles, back pain exercises are tailored to strengthening the lower back and generally the core muscles which also include the abdominal muscles.

Back pain exercises done regularly train our back muscles to have more endurance which means that they can sustain their strength over long periods of time. The selected workouts for these exercise routines need to be well balanced to avoid causing injuries to the back muscles. This means that exercising other muscles on the chest and even the thighs is still very important. We often overwork the back muscles especially the lower back muscles that support our torso when we fail to use our thigh muscles when lifting heavy weights. This can as well lead to injuries which cause back pains. Many workouts meant to benefit the back will normally make the back muscles to contract and therefore these should be complemented with flexibility exercises which stretch the muscles to avoid injuries. Tight back muscles and any other tight muscles in the body will normally through the spine off its alignment and still lead to back pains.

The back pain exercises will mainly involve any workout routines with movements that either pull towards the body or make the body to fold around the waist area. Touching the toes, lying flat face down with hands at the back of the head then lifting the chest off the surface, barbell bent over rows, deadlifts, dumbbell rows, back extensions, pullovers, legs lifting and many other exercises will do for the back. Pulling anything towards the body is exercise for the whole back while lifting weights towards the chest exercises the upper back. All these topped with stretching exercises will do for the ultimate spine health.

Most of us will be excused of harboring the otherwise wrong perception that body building exercises are just intensive competitions. Well, we all admire when body builders display their physique on stage with an aesthetic quality of form, proportions and detailed muscles. We only forget that before this posing and flexing on stage, a lot of effort has already gone in almost all forms of exercises.

The body builder like any other person starts at some point and sets the goals to achieve at the end of the day with their planned routines of body building exercises. Everybody determines what they need to work on to achieve those goals based on their current form and physique. You have to identify what muscles you need to work on and carefully monitor the progress with results and details noted in your diary. This way you will be able to know what specific exercises are working out best for you so that you can make the appropriate adjustments needed in your exercise routines.

Your body building exercises should be focused on developing the right muscle shapes where you need them on your body, getting firmer, slimming on those areas that are the obstacles to your uprightness and generally achieving the desired body shape and fitness. Balanced exercise routines will include strength exercises, cardiovascular exercises and flexibility exercises. Strength exercises are crucial for toning up your body by subjecting the muscles you intent to build on extra stress than what they are used to in order to make them stretch to new limits and grow. The process is a carefully monitored one to avoid over stressing the muscles which can potentially cause injuries. Start by lifting small weights that you can handle the only increasing this gradually so that you can keep out-doing your best each time. You will essentially need to try out different positions while lifting the weights so that you can contract the different muscles you need to build. Flexibility exercises on the other hand will involve stretching the muscles you have previously contracted and used. The stretching exercises prevent the body from shaping badly and should be done during the recovery breaks of the strength exercises. Cardiovascular exercises focus on your heart and the lungs and will make you burn the extra calories as they make you tired, sweat and breathe heavily.

In conclusion, the body building exercises can be tried by anyone who needs to shape up the body to achieve an invaluable aesthetic quality. With the balanced exercise routines, you will find the results extremely rewarding to your general health and well being.

While many people have started to appreciate the long-term health benefits of exercises, few remember to come up with a balanced exercise routine to optimize their results. Flexibility exercises for this matter tend to be left out in the regular exercise routines. This is what makes many people to wonder why after all their workouts they end up with the wrong body shape or even injuries in some extreme cases. This is why a well thought out exercise training program that includes stretching exercises is the best for you.

When exercising and in most workouts, we normally maintain body postures that put particular body muscles we intent to work on under considerable amounts of stress. This makes the muscles to undergo a series of contractions until we get satisfied and in our judgment believe we have done the best. Most of us if not going on with the next workouts, leave it at that until the next day or time slotted for the exercises. These exercises may be beneficial or at the same time doing a lot of harm than you may think to your muscles. This is because we fail to recognize the importance of flexibility exercises which require that we stretch any muscles we have used in any of the workouts. The stretching is supposed to be done immediately after a workout that has subjected your muscles under contractions in order to ease the tension relax them gradually to normal. This can be done in between the exercise workouts while light flexibility exercise need to be more or less part of your lifestyle. They can almost be done anywhere anytime you get an opportunity and allow you to recover from the effects of the previous heavy exercise. You can think of these exercises as helping to prepare your body for the next set or exercise routines.

Flexibility exercises can be conveniently included in the runtimes of your home exercises where you may not have a lot of exercise equipment for heavier workouts. You will only need your body to stretch every muscle on it. While doing the stretching exercises, try holding each stretch a bit longer to achieve meaningful effects that your muscles can retain longer. These are the secrets to achieving the almost perfect body fitness with the best possible shape. Start today and apply these stretching exercises in your routines and you will be on your way to achieving your dream shape.

It is undeniable that our legs play a very important role in our lives as we use them to carry our bodies around. The legs have many muscles that co-ordinate effectively with the core muscles to support the normally huge torso if its proportion with the lower body is anything to go by. The legs muscles also co-ordinate among themselves to allow movements in all directions. Realizing how invaluable these useful assets are, we will definitely never want to compromise their health and will therefore take all the leg exercises that will keep them serving us for as long as they can.

To understand your leg exercises needs, you will probably need to appreciate the various leg muscles that tirelessly and in very sophisticated manner co-ordinate to allow any possible legs movements. Right at the front of your thighs are the quadriceps or simply the quads. These are large muscles and play a big role. They are put in action mostly when we move our legs forward. At the back of our thighs we have the complementing muscles known as hamstrings. These allow the movements associated with lifting our heels or moving the legs towards the back. They contract and stretch in proportion with the quads to allow any possible leg movements. When moving the legs forward, the quads contract while at the same time the hamstrings stretch out to lengthen. With the back movement of the legs, the opposite is true. The glutes consisting of the gluteus maximus, gluteus minimus and the gluteus midius are a group of muscles that extend the hips and are in action when we move our legs away from the body to the sides. Hip flexors are other muscles that support the lifting of the knees.

Since all the leg muscles work together to allow movements and support the upper body, leg exercises that strengthen and keep the legs supple are important. Weak leg muscles not only affect the legs themselves but also other body parts like the lower back. If our legs cannot support weight lifting, they pass the work to the core muscles which include the deep lower back muscles. Common conditions on the legs due to lack of enough exercises and poor form mostly occur at the joints of the knees. Another common cause is due to overuse of the legs muscles highlighting the importance of flexibility exercises. Stretching your legs on daily basis is thus a very healthy habit that will keep your precious assets fit.

Generally, the back is a group of muscles that play a very important role of protecting the spinal cord. The back muscles must be exercised to the same extent as the front muscles to maintain a good body shape and avoid potential injury. The lower back muscles are part of what is generally referred to as the core muscles. These muscles support the spine to play its important role of maintaining the body balance against gravity as they prevent us from toppling. Lower back exercises are thus important in building the strength and endurance required to play such roles. The endurance will also be critical to preventing the most common lower back pains which in most cases are actually caused by lack of exercising.

Any form of exercise that induces the required stress or stretching to the lower back muscles can be included in the routines for the lower back exercises. Those already with back conditions should first see their doctors for some advice prior to any workouts for the lower back. You may initially want to start with light exercises that are gradually going to train your lower back muscles. Simple weight lifting can be done, where you basically lift towards your waist. Lying on a flat surface with your face down then lifting one hand together with your head and the opposite one leg is known as the back hyper extension and works for your lower back. Any action of pulling objects towards your body works on some part of your back. You can as well try other simple exercises like touching your toes, lifting your legs while lying flat face down, and any body movements that attempt to fold at the waist. Twisting variations for most of these lower back exercises work on the right and the left side of the lower back each at a time. Other workouts that would utilize exercise equipment include deadlifts, barbell bent over rows, dumbbell rows, pullovers and back extensions. It is important to realize that all these exercises cause contractions on your lower back muscles so you need to carry out flexibility exercises for better results and to avoid injury.

The various lower back exercises should always be balanced with all the other forms of exercises but most importantly should focus on the deep-lower back and the abdominal muscles. Establishing the proper routine for these exercises and observing proper dieting should deliver fabulous results for your spine health.
